Elevation test
The intention of this test knowing of trainee’s awareness, performing, and ability to gear up the vehicle towards front smoothly with out creeping reveres to prevent accident and without offing the engine to prevent hindering the traffic motion on the rood elevations.
For passing elevation test the trainee must follow the following steps:
1- Stopping at middle of elevation as a complete stoppage that Means with out using pedal break but using parking brake, and Put the transmission in neutral noticing traffic signal light Flashing red (Stop), as envisaged for the position.
2- waiting until the traffic signal lights turns Yellow (Get Ready) then shift into1 and Depress the Accelerator pedal until the race Of engine reach 2 and hold it, as envisaged for the position.
3- While the traffic signal lights turned green (Go) Release your Foot ups the clutch pedal slowly until The race of engine reach 1, as envisaged for the Position, then release parking break with Depressing the accelerator pedal a bit for increasing The race of Engine, incase of vehicle not moving at Demanded speediness, Release your foot ups the Clutch pedal a bit without releasing the Clutch pedal Completely, this prevents engine switching off.
Notices:
- Do not depress the accelerator pedal and do not race the engine and avoid spinning the wheels.
- Do not release parking break, release it in suitable time, this prevents the vehicle from creeping Reverse.
The shortcut way:
To shorten these steps the trainee has to shift into 1 and depress the accelerator pedal then release his/here foot ups the clutch pedal slowly until the trainee sense that the vehicle is movable then he has to release the hand break.
